An electrical short circuit caused fire that burned an internet cafe (warnet) and a store on Jalan Penganten Ali RT 07/06 Ciracas Urban Village, East Jakarta, Monday (11/11) at 12:12 AM.

Personnel then fully extinguished the fire at 1:10 AM

East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Abdul Wahid said the fire burned the internet cafe while it closed. Thick smoke accompanied with fire came from one of the rooms.

"The owner together with local residents tried to extinguish the fire, but they failed," he said.

Wahid added his side deployed eight firetrucks with 40 personnel to extinguish the fire.

"Personnel then fully extinguished the fire at 1:10 AM," he added.

There is no victim caused by the incident.
